Financial Management and Audit Readiness Support Services
During the period of engagement Diversified Systems has provided the Finance team (and Office of the CFO, Comptroller and Managing Director of the Budget) with project management and technical support. We delivered these services in conjunction with the technology project management team to improve accounting, budgeting and reporting functions in the existing PeopleSoft ERP and new Hyperion systems.
Our Task
The primary areas targeted for business process improvement and solution development include grants management and jurisdictional accounting and billing process, payroll and timekeeping, asset management and accounts payable (vendor payments). In addition, other less critical but vital areas within the PeopleSoft system will be addressed as part of this improvement process. Key workstreams included:
- Fringe Expense Allocation Phase I & II
- FFR /SEFA Automation
- Jurisdictional Billing
- Timekeeping Phase I (Kronos Implementation)
